arrow 1. Where can I purchase the Wallflower organic artworks ?

At your local florist and in garden centres near you. The addresses are available on the page points of sale

arrow 2. Are the plants sold with the frames ?

Wallflower is sold with the plants, as a complete product. Various plant compositions are available in our catalogue, you will find them on the page product lines. The compositions are renewed twice a year: Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter.

arrow 3. The plants at the top are drying out, what should I do ?

You probably forgot to fill the water reserve. You quickly need to rehydrate the plants: just take the Wallflower off the wall, soak it in 2 cm of water for about twenty minutes, lying flat with the plants facing you. You can do so in a water container, the sink or in the bathtub. Be careful not to wet the frame which could result in staining or degradation. Thereafter you can dry off the plastic container at the back, hang up your frame again and fill the water reserve.

arrow 4. I forgot to fill the water reserve, the plants are starting to dry out, what should I do ?

You need to fill the water reserve 3 times in a row over a maximum of 12 hours, in order to rehydrate the pouch and to jump-start the watering process. If the water reserve has been empty for too long, proceed to the procedure described in the answer to question 3.

arrow 5. The leaves are becoming soft and turning yellow, what can I do ?

The plant composition is lacking light, even if it has enough water. This problem can be amplified if the surrounding temperature is heightened (summer heat and closed shutters/ blinds for example). You will need to place your Wallflower into a lighter area or install a special lamp to encourage the healthy development of your plants.

arrow 6. Should I add liquid fertilizer ?

The substrate used in the Wallflower artworks contains a slow-release fertilizer. Therefore it is not necessary to add fertilizer for the first 6 months. Thereafter, you can add a very weak dosage of liquid fertiliser for green pot plants to the water (divided in ratios of 1 to 10!) The plants do not require large amounts of fertiliser to develop in this system of culture.

arrow 7. How do I change one of the plants in the composition ?

The planting process is the same as that of a traditional pot plant:
Pull the pouch out of the frame or lay the frame flat once you have taken care to empty the water reserve. It is sufficient to remove the 3 pins which have been stuck into the pouch around the plants, pull out the plant with its root system, insert a new plant with its root system into the empty space, press down the substrate around the plant to ensure that the roots come into contact with the substrate, fold closed the horticultural tissue around the root and stick the pins back, in order to hold the plant in place while it takes root. The planting process should be conducted while the substrate is humid, in order to encourage the re-rooting procedure of the plant.
